Technical Support – Hygiene Industry

Location – South of England (ideally Swindon/Reading)

Job Sector – Hygiene Chemicals, Food Industry

Salary - £20 -25k pa depending on qualifications and experience plus a company vehicle

We are seeking to employ in a permanent position a technical support person for our sales team in the South of England.

The primary role of Technical Support will be to manage existing food accounts and work on new business as and when required. The main duties will be:-

Practical advice for our customer’s production sites.
Night and day time evaluation of cleaning methods.
Hygiene visits and audits.
Trouble shooting and investigations of specific micro issues.
Strength tests and calibrations
Customer health and safety/COSHH training
Site inspections of critical control points.
Write and update cleaning schedules and instructions
Manage and update customer hygiene manuals

The ideal candidate will have a background in the chemical industry or have worked within a modern food environment. A good understanding of food production equipment and cip is necessary. Good communication skills and a flexible attitude towards travel and working hours is essential.
