John Bell, Managing Director

As managing director of the company, John has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the business, from matters affecting its suppliers to the specific needs of its customers.

With over 25 years’ experience in industrial hygiene, he is well qualified to discuss the broader hygiene issues affecting the food, brewing, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries which Klenzan serves.

John is also recognised as an authority on the latest innovations in industrial hygiene and is able to respond on matters as diverse as peaks and troughs in the chemical market, health and safety legislation and technological advancements within the sector.

Dr Brian Chambers, Chairman and Director

Brian has a Ph D in chemistry and over 40 years’ experience working in process industries. In his role as chairman and director, Brian brings his extensive knowledge and experience of process industries to bear on the management and direction of the company.

His expertise extends to a deep understanding of the issues surrounding manufacturing, logistics and operational efficiency, as well as the chemical and technical aspects of industrial hygiene.

Prior to joining Klenzan in 1990, Brian held various senior management positions at ICI for over 25 years before consulting in process industries and fast-moving consumer goods as an Oliver Wight Associate worldwide.

Andy Bethel, Operations Manager

Andy first joined Klenzan in 2001 bringing with him considerable experience as an engineering manager and expert knowledge of the dairy industry, where Klenzan dominate in this market.

As operations manager, his expertise lies in improving the operational efficiency of Klenzan and its 300 customers. In particular, Andy is expert at advising companies how their operations can be streamlined to save time and money.

Andy’s expertise and experience has cemented his reputation as an authority on industrial hygiene operations. He is able to respond to any issues relating to operational efficiency, including manufacturing, logistics, engineering and management systems.

Mike Taylor, Senior Chemist and Regulatory Affairs Manager

A highly-qualified chemist with more than 30 years’ experience in the chemical industry, Mike is ideally positioned to comment on a wide range of issues relating to the chemical and technical side of Klenzan’s operation.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day production matters such as quality control, the evaluation of raw materials, product formulations and advances, Mike’s expertise is regularly called upon to help resolve customers’ issues.

As such, Mike is able to respond to any questions relating to development and manufacture of chemical solutions, the legislation and regulation surrounding industrial hygiene and issues relating to the environment.
